Transportation Impact Fee Mitigation Program

Program Summary

Targeted industries creating more than 10 jobs or expanding their Osceola County employment by 10% percent and paying the new positions an average of at least 115% of the Osceola County average wage or targeted industries creating more than 10 jobs or expanding their Osceola County employment by 10% percent and making a $10 million or more capital investment can qualify for up to 50% mitigation of their transportation impact fees based on their capital investment. The targeted company receiving the incentive must own the newly constructed or expanded building.

Green Incentive Program - An additional Incentive is now available in the event a targeted industry builds a Class A Green office building, manufacturing or distribution facility in Osceola County using the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED-CS guidelines for certification; targeted industry may obtain an extra ten (10%) percent reimbursement of road impact fees.

Speculative Building Class A Office Building - In the event a developer constructs a Class A office building in Osceola County costing more than $10 million, and has a qualified long-term lease(s) to a targeted industry that creates the greater of ten (10) new jobs or has a ten (10%) percent increase in existing employment, and paying an average annual wage at Osceola County’s average annual wage, the developer can qualify for up to 50% mitigation of their transportation impact fees based on their capital investment.
