Maria Toumazos

Maria Toumazos is the Osceola County government senior level administrator for economic development, tourism marketing and development, and the operation and maintenance of a diverse group of event and sporting facilities.

Since beginning her career with Osceola County in 2000 as the first-ever Economic Development Department Director, she has been instrumental in creating or assisting in the relocation of several businesses that brought 3200 new jobs to the community. That proven success helped inspire an Osceola County staff realignment that elevated her responsibilities to include operational oversight of Economic Development, the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Event Facilities Department that includes Osceola Heritage Park and its Silver Spurs Arena.

An Economic Development professional of nearly two decades, Maria is the primary contact for recruitment, retention and expansion of business and industry in Osceola County, which includes Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Poinciana, Harmony, and Celebration. Among her responsibilities is to assist business prospects with property searches, incentives, and fast track permitting.

Christina has been with the Osceola County Economic Development Department for 3 years. Christina is responsible for the Enterprise Zone, the Existing Industry Program, demographic information, and assist on projects.
