Osceola County Launches ChooseOsceola.com

KISSIMMEE, FL -- The Osceola County Economic Development Department launched an enhanced website today, ChooseOsceola.com, to assist in recruitment and retention of targeted industries.

More than just a fresh look, the website is a dynamic and user-friendly online presence that enables site consultants and targeted industries searching for the best place to relocate or expand their headquarters, manufacturing, distribution, or research facility to easily access information. The new design was created by the Osceola County Information Technology Department.

With the click of a button they will find every reason they need to choose Osceola. Beginning with an attractive and colorful homepage, the site invites visitors to learn more about the attributes of Osceola County, Florida.

Osceola County Economic Development Administrator Maria Grulich Toumazos said the new website is vital in a time when electronic media and e-commerce are keys to doing business.

"This is an exciting new marketing and business relationship tool for us,” she said. “It has a great new look, is easy to navigate, and includes components that site consultants and others interested in doing business in Osceola County will find appealing."

Menus accessible from the home page make the site easy to navigate, offering "Tools for Success," including state and local incentives, and incentives in the Kissimmee/Osceola County Enterprise Zone. Also available are "Facts and Stats" information on area demographics, workforce availability, and more.

A highlight of the new site is a profile of the county’s unique I Do Team I Develop Osceola, which helps clients expedite the permitting process more efficiently by building relationships with the professionals who will review their permit applications.

The website changes do not end at this first phase. A property database tool is being developed as part of the second phase, to assist companies searching for available properties based on specific needs to find the best place within Osceola County for their project.
