Osceola County Commissioners recently moved forward with steps to improve a section of its East U.S. Highway 192 corridor. Commissioners unanimously approved establishment of an East U.S. 192 Community Redevelopment Agency board for a 2.8-mile segment of U.S. 192 stretching from Kissimmee City limits to Partin Settlement Road.

At their transportation workshop Monday, Osceola County Commissioners directed staff to find alternative sources of funding to cover what has been supported through traditional impact fees.
